Hyperia Trains have been revealed!

Hot on the heels of the opening date of Thorpe Parks new recording breaking coaster (24th May 2024), Thorpe Park have shown off the trains that will run on it.

They were shown off in a video which was created for the park by Jack Silkstone, who is also documenting the construction and (soon) testing of the ride. The new trains are 5 carriages long, with 4 riders per carriage for a total of 20 riders per train. The ride will have 2 trains in total. They feature over the shoulder lap bars, like all modern Mack roller coasters, offering a great open feeling for the riders whilst being accommodating for different sizes. It will actually have one of the lowest height requirements in the park, with riders needing to only be 1.3m (4 foot 3), which is the average height for a 9 year old.

One train has been delivered and put into the maintenance shed, no news yet on the second train but as only one train is required for the initial testing it may be a while before we see the other train at Thorpe Park.

Jack Silkstone has a great video showing the trains arriving from Germany, being moved across the side and then assembled in the maintenance shed. The end of the video shows how they filmed the above Train Reveal.
