Drayton Manor have confirmed their new Family Coaster ‘Gold Rush’ will open on the 26th July 2024.
The new Intamin Family Coaster has just a 1m height restriction, making it accessible to (almost) the entire family. Drayton Manor are promising that it will be the longest family coaster in the UK, and that it will have (some) airtime.
The layout of the new coaster is…interesting to say the least. It has both a lift hill and a launch, as well as multiple switch tracks. It’s so confusing that no one really knows the route that the trains will take. I’m sure we’ll see some more testing footage and maybe a POV before the ride opens at the end of July.
